How did you do the butterflies? They aren't on watercolor paper are they? And the little areas you left white look like they could have been done with frisket (liquid masking fluid).
And the bird is adorable!
Keep working every day, but I'd love to see you do a bigger project that takes you many hours to complete. There are lots of creative ideas on other blogs, like this one:
